Hello there!  IRON DRAGON is a newly formed Band from Yorkton Sask!
I (Ryan Crouse) on Guitars - others might know me from my other work at Star Verse Comics - http://www.starverse.ca
Sam Derkatch (Bass), and we are in the works of a lead singer that does vocals in the style of Bruce Dickinson/Halford - Ian Shire from the US somewhere!
We are in the works of getting a website as we were originally gibe to make an Instrumental album - almost ready.  Now that we might have vocals, it may not come out till next year.  You have hear some of the music and samples here ...

that was steel dragon.

Why this name?
I am a huge fan of Fantasy and bands such as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Primal Fear, Helloween, Iced Earth, etc. I combined the greatest of Metal (Iron) and the greatest of Fantast (Dragon) Thus Iron Dragon was Born!

What I mean by that is I like MANY others Believe that Iron Maiden is the greatest that that has happened to metal.  Iron as in the begining of their name.  I see where that may be misinterpeted.

Don't listen to Malformed, he's just razzing you.

Dickinson would have got it.

I like the name, and your reasoning behind it. We basically got our name from a truck that passed Jay on the highway. ORCHARD TRUCKING became THE ORCHARD

I'm pretty sure Colby went flipping through the dictionary to find ours. Actually, I'm damn sure because "Abegnation" was another name he came up with at the time.

Abide No Master was the only one we couldn't make fun of for a half hour and you should of heard the other names
We finaly decided that the music and the guys in the band are what makes the name what it is, not the other way around

Quote from a Propagandhi song...

"... and on these days of remembrance, let us not kneel and pray for the dead, but let us stand and -Activate- for the living to rescue those about to die."

I'm pretty sure that's where we grabbed our name from.
Kind of odd, because we aren't really a political band by any means.
