The latest episode of Radioactive Metal is now available. This time we speak with Paradise Lost/Bloodbath vocalist Nick Holmes.

Side projects or supergroups can have a limited shelf life. But when the “right time, right place” combination of artists strikes a chord with fans, the project can burn quite brightly. More often than not, the flames extinguish quickly as the main band demands start monopolizing time and energy. Sweden’s BLOODBATH remain the exception to the rule. Despite being a side project, the band remains revered and respected in the death metal scene. So much to the point that one is hard pressed to remember that Bloodbath is indeed a project on the side. We recently sat down with Nick Holmes to discuss how he became the new vocalist, how the band has maintained its high quality musical output, and if there’s any crossover audience between Bloodbath and PARADISE LOST. In ourNews, Views, and Tunes, we give mad props to Barney Greenway, go off on the Grammys, and introduce (un)black metallers THE AUTUMN LEAGUE in our Indie Spotlight. Horns!!

The show can be found at www.radioactivemeta l.org.

Be sure to check out some of our previous episodes featuring interviews with Testament, Massacre, Obituary, Exodus, Suffocation, Upon A Burning Body, Devil You Know, Nightwish,Sonata Arctica, Misery Signals, Onslaught, Trouble, Exciter, Internal Bleeding, and Primitive Man.
