Animals as leaders is great live.  I don't care for Devin Townsend but will probably check this out.

Ah, I didn't see that. :/

Awesome though. I didn't see them last time they were around... with Meshuggah I think. I love me some DT but yeah, definitely looking even more forward now.

That's because AaL couldn't get over the border or something. Too bad, because they would have been a great opener for Meshuggah (who played a great show in Calgary).

I think it's time I finally check out a DT solo show. AaL being there is definitely skewing my interest in going.

According to one site it looks like AaL is closing this show, they are alternating headliners.  My guess is their sets won't vary much in length either way though.

Amazing. They had some trippy patterns and visuals going on on some LED screens, so between the music and staring at those, I felt totally high after the show. Really great set. I wasn't sure how well they'd do their stuff live, but they were amazing.

DT was also good, my first time seeing him solo. Didn't know most of the songs (as I only like a small amount of his post-SYL output), but the music was good, and he was quite funny.

First band were good at what they did, but I didn't like them.
