The latest episode of Radioactive Metal is now available. This time we speak with bassist/founder Par Sundstrom of Sabaton.

This is an old story that the citizens of Metaldom never tire of. Band comes to town/Band decimates town/Headbangers of town go home thoroughly impressed. Admittedly despite their stature in the Metal world, Swedish powerhouse SABATON were barely on our radar. Their recent stint supporting ICED EARTH had us regretting the error of our ways. On the day of the release of their new record “Heroes”, we sat down with bassist/founder Par Sundstorm. He let us in on the new record, their ongoing relationship with producer Peter Tagtgren, and winning over that tough Iron Maiden audience. True Metal Heroes indeed. In our News, Views and Tunes, we pay tribute to artist H.R. Giger, discuss the latest in the Tim Lambesis situation, a quick talk on censorship, crank the new Sabaton, TRIPTYKON, Iced Earth, and introduce Ohio tech deathsters LOCUSTA in our Indie Spotlight. Horns!!
