Smoke weed, growl.

The wolf howls. The ravens flee.
The ice mutters in the mouths of the sea.
The captives sad in Angband mourn.

Or just can not use common sence.

The blood which taint my face - is the evidence of our inhumanity! Ligaments of guts around the canon, the proof of our dedication, our father purification process!!!!!

Does your metal know what metal really means?

As mentioned before, it's from the guts. Think of your diaphragm as a pair of hands pushing down on the bellows (your lungs) and it squeezing air through your false vocal chords (reeds like in a reed organ). You'll end up with more chest movement and less strain in your throat. Again, false vocal chords. not your real ones which are lower down in your throat. If you ever feel pain, please stop. You'll do irreversible damage if you push yourself too much the wrong way.

Every style of screaming has it's own lil differences. My recommendation would be to slam a mic in front of your face, turn the volume up and start making "scary" noises. When you get the right one, you'll know it.

And as always, practice makes perfect. Smiley
