The whole thing about taking away sustain, there's a simple solution, if you want a note to carry longer and better, it IS a footswitch, switch it off.  I was never really worried about that because it's such a minor thing.

Fair enough, although I'm definitely the type who likes to press as few pedals during a set as possible.

yeah i get that too.  Like you said, if you're playing fast sustain isn't necessarily as big a concern, I guess it all comes down to what you're playing.

I find it sucks more tone out from my clean though...but how often do you use clean tone when you play in a metal band?

Well... I still do. But one is a wireless receiver, one is a tuner, one is the ns-2, which are never touched during a set... then there's just clean/dirty which is touched rarely (due to being almost troo and kvlt), and my delay and eq pedals for lead boost which I mash with my foot at the same time...

Even that is annoyingly too much pedal dancing for my liking.

Maybe you mean that Behringer MIDI controller? I think I maybe used that for 6 months. haha WAY too much dancin'.

Him, Jon and Steve.  Also, Danny from Agonal is not a fatass.

I've had ground loop issues if you share the power supply with a effects loop pedal before. Added a second power supply on the same power bar, and make sure your devices prior to the Amp/Head are on one power supply, and the effect loops pedals are on the other and it cured it.

Only othe issue I've had was the internal jacks on the pedal came loose, and I had to open it up and tighten them down. Just make sure you don't short out the jack internally. That causes issues too..lol

Other then that I love that pedal. I use it exclusively with my JSX and Schecter/Ibanez guitars with a Marshall Mode 4 4x12 cabinet and it is cripplingly heavy and slient at the same time...

This.

Some rigs really act up when you have daisy chain pedals, some in fx loop, some between gtr/amp all on one power supply. I also use two myself. Bit of an extra pain in the ass, especially since I have a pedal snake (which is awesome) but it only runs power to the other end of the snake for one power supply... so I still have to have front of stage power for my other. Kind defeats the purpose a bit. Oh well, the pedal snake thing is maybe another thread of it's own.
