swedish death metal is a subgenre - at the gates , in flames , soilwork ect . that list pissed me off to no end also tho.
Call me picky. But I personally always referred to bands like Soilwork, Dark Tranquility, and In Flames as Gothenburg/Melodic Death; while At The Gates are just Melodic Death. Doesn't matter though, really.

And regardless! At least I'm not the only one who dislikes the list, and that's all that matters.

Other than the fact that they can play circles around majority of bands.

Depends what you think is good or not. I myself think their music is rad.

Regardless of whether or not you like them, you can't say they aren't amazing musicians, and great at what they do.

I just don't like Sam Dunn, something about him just annoys me to no end.

... and I find it rather odd since he has a degree in anthropology he would make something more accurate (sub genre time line).

Degree or not, he's also your "standard metalhead" who worship bands like "The Big 4" as being the best metal ever.

aka: He's not tr00 or kvlt enough for me to like him!

I watched this video and I realized the best bands in the world started as kids just like me! There were some uncanny similarities between the band Rush and my buds and I who were watching the vid.

I loved this DVD, I wanna watch it again.
