THIS IS GOING TO FUCKING RULE!!

from: http://puredigital-cd.blogspot.com/2010/01/valleys-of-neptunejimi-hendrix.html

12 previously unreleased studio recordings - over 60 minutes of unheard Jimi Hendrix! Due For Release 3/9/2010

10 recordings were made between February and May 1969 as the Jimi Hendrix Experience set out to create their sequel to the groundbreaking 1968 double album Electric Ladyland.

Features "Valleys Of Neptune," one of the most sought after of all of Hendrix's commercially unavailable recordings.

Includes exciting 1969 arrangements of classic signature songs "Red House," "Fire" and "Stone Free."

Also includes unheard studio versions of Hendrix's inspired interpretations of "Bleeding Heart" by Elmore James and Cream's "Sunshine Of Your Love."

Mixed by Eddie Kramer, the engineer for all of Hendrix's albums throughout the guitarist's lifetime.

Produced by Janie Hendrix, Eddie Kramer and John McDermott - the team behind all of the acclaimed Jimi Hendrix CD and DVD releases since 1996.

Heres a sample for your ear pussies! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-v-r4OEYTZc

"Yo bro, wanna go down to the valleys of neptune, drop some tabs and smoke some dubes! then we can rock the new Jimeh album!"

Sorry I was listening to uyd and they were laughing about the name and this reminded me of that moment of the podcast, it was funny.

Its Hendrix, I think the name is perfect.

if Jimi was alive maybe he would have a different name for it but the songs were written in the 60s so why wouldnt it be a 60s name

Man, they've raped the vaults of shit like this for 40 years now.  It's the same shit over and over again.  That Hendrix box set from about 2000 is pretty stellar.  The rest of these "rare gem" albums that come out all the time are interesting once.
