Here are some simple rules to follow when posting a new thread in the Musicians Seeking Musicians forum. Failure to comply may result in deletion of your thread without notice.

#1: ALWAYS INCLUDE LOCATION. This forum has members throughout all of Saskatchewan and outside. Don't just assume that we know you're in Regina, or Saskatoon or whatever. If you really want someone to join your band, it helps if we know where the fuck you are at.

#2: Give us SOME idea of what you are looking for. Don't just say "looking for guitarist to join hard rock band". Tell us your influences in music, a more specific song writing style (some can look at hard rock and think AC/DC, or Guns 'n Roses, or Helmet...I'm sure you can agree that NONE of those bands sound similar but are all hard rock in a sense), or a general direction you're looking into (if no solid sound has been created). If you are open to new directions, at least tell us what bands/musicians stoke you so we have an idea of where you're coming from.

#2.5: If you have an idea of what style you are looking for in a new member, include that info as well. For example, if you've got a specific sound in mind, tell us. You need a vocalist for your post-metalgazer band who sounds like a mix between Baroness, recent Mastodon, but can sometimes get angry like Isis or Godflesh, be sure to include that so you don't get someone to try out who sounds like Jacob Bannon from Converge or Corpsegrinder from Cannibal Corpse and can't do much else.

#3: Not always necessary, but age sometimes helps. Some of us are old fucks (30+) some of us are not (<16). But I'm sure we can all agree, it would be mad uncomfortable if a band of all High Schoolers just recruited a 35 year old vocalist...

#4: Don't post your phone number. Some members of this site will prank you. Save that for PMs or emails with actual interested parties.
