how much an album and when will it be out?!!

Depends on how much it costs to print.  I'm looking for a very small quantity locally right now - which means it's going to cost more to do (as compared to ordering 1000 - which is FAR cheaper to do per unit.....but then I have 1000 CDs and that's WAY too many).  It'll probably be $10/disc.

I'm hoping to have some for the Oct 16 show..........but that's pretty damned optomistic........a nd only if the local print shop can have inlays printed by end of day tuesday sort of thing - however I should hear back from Squareflo with price quotes today to see if I'm staying local or ordering online.

I enjoy your use of the word viable. Please provide said album to music outlets in the city as well, as I think it would sell quite handsomely. Perhaps, more handsomely even than Jim himself does sell. Handsomely.

Ghetto discs are now ready to go.  To save costs for the first round of CDs I had the front and back artwork printed on cardboard that I have the pleasure of cutting out myself then crazy gluing.

Had CDs dup'd and artwork done with an inkjet printer.

I learned I don't like cutting.  I also learned I really don't like crazy glue.......aside the fact it works good.

This will be a very limited indy release of 100 with some of them going out to small record labels so get them while you can!

I remember when IE printed it's first batch of 1000 green cds (first indy release of the first album).  Took us I think close to 3 years to sell them all and now people wish they could have a copy.

Anyway - they will be sold for marginally above cost at $5/disc.  With that price you also get my hard laboured cutting sweat and frustration with crazy glue all over my fingers putting these damned things together!

ALSO AVAILABLE TONIGHT AT THE EXCHANGE FOR THE SHOW WITH AWKWARD SILENCE, KOBRA AND THE LOTUS, US AND AUTARIC!

Thanks man.  Drunken set it was!  We decided if there's any time to chug a lot before a gig that was the night to do it - and chug we did haha.

Stoked for PA show!

Myspace has been altered - noobishly I may add but altered indeed - check it out - lemme know what I'm doing wrong!

Also check out 'Song 7' and lemme know what you think!

It's cleverly titled that as it's the 7th song written for the next album.  No vox yet but I can hear some melody for it already.  It kinda reminds me of Death....one of my biggest influences.  The songwriting is definitley becoming more mature in this project.

We now have 'ghetto discs' available for the first album.  I'm going to apply for a Factor grant to have touchwood remix.  If I don't get it this will be the final copy.  If I do I'm not bloody well making these things again......Either way these are gonna be limited and are cheap at $5 a pop.  I had to friggen cut these things out and crazy glue them.  Took forever.....my fingers got stuck numerous times....ugh.

We also had posters done and I'm having shirts done up right now too.  Not full album shirts I have to go out of province for that but these ones will have the logo on the front and some lyrics on the back!

A couple new songs up on myspace if yer interested - song 8 (cleverly yet sequentially titled) is the first collaberation of Graeme and I and I think it turned out quite well!

Also added 'The Blind Mask' upon Ryans request.

Jim could you also add proper spelling, at my request?

Also, "Soulless Erosion" FTW.
